Tutorial Description

      Collierville Connection provides an academic, college preparatory education taught by experts in their subject disciplines.  Tutors structure a two-hour course of study per week that begins in the classroom and continues in the home under the guidance of the parent.
        Each Jr. & Sr. High School course covers a full year curriculum, meets or exceeds state standards, and qualifies as a full weighted credit on High School transcripts.  Honors level courses are available in math, science, and literature.         
        Our courses have been carefully designed to prepare the adolescent with crucial organizational skills and provide a firm foundation in academic subject matter necessary to be successful at the high school level and beyond.        
        Parent involvement, student responsibility and self- motivation are essential to your child's success.  Our tutors are prepared to lead the parent and child through the curriculum; however, for a child to be truly successful, at any level, the parents must be willing to commit to a partnership with their tutor: assisting their child at home, organizing their assignments and school day outside of the Connection, and checking to make sure assignments are handed in on time and complete.

        Classes meets 2 days per week: Tuesdays and Thursdays at Faith Lutheran Church, 507 New Byhalia Rd., Collierville, 38017 . 
                          Our program follows the Shelby County School schedule for vacation, severe weather and snow days.
        All academic and elective classes are 2 hours long. Upper elementary are provided on Tuesday and Thursday for 1 ½ hours. 

The Collierville Connection exists as a network of independent, qualified academic tutors contracted to assist parents at both the junior & senior high school levels. We partner with parents to provide college-bound students with rigorous, challenging instruction in a nurturing, Christ-centered environment.
